I’m trinity Sawyer

Creating has been a fundamental part of my entire life in many different forms, though my creative energy has been mainly dedicated to oil painting since moving to Mexico in 2022.

Previously, art was a passion I hoped to squeeze in as a hobby while I worked in other industries to pay the bills. A move I made to be closer to my partner’s parents, ended up being a transformative journey for me as an artist and a human, leading me down a path of destiny and fulfillment.

Landing a job at one of my favourite art galleries in the artsy town of Todos Santos — Galeria Logan — launched my professional art career.

I now have the pleasure of showing and selling my paintings alongside the talented works of the gallery owner and prolific artist, Jill Logan, mosaic artist, Linda Lenz and realist wave artist, Lee Mothes.

My work is often inspired by the awe of the Baja, where mountains fold into desert valleys that reach out to the Pacific Ocean and flowers bloom in resilience.

When I’m not at the gallery or painting in my home studio, you can find me on the waves learning to surf or exploring and camping with my partner, Alex and our sweet dog, Apachi.
