. . A Canadian artist living in Baja California Sur, Mexico.

Creating has been a fundamental part of my entire life, though the last few years have been dedicated to oil painting and capturing the wonder around me, since moving to Mexico in 2022.

Baja California is an artist’s dream, and so vastly different from where I grew up in Southern Ontario. The peninsula is home to over 37,000 plant species alone.

My eyes constantly study new plants, the shadows, the unexpected palettes of the desert. The structure and composition of nature have always captivated my attention and brought inspiration, so discovering new species as an adult ignites my imagination.

My aim is to capture the awe of the Baja, where mountains fold into desert valleys that reach out to the Pacific Ocean and flowers bloom in resilience.

When I’m not at the gallery or painting in my home studio, you can find me on the waves learning to surf or exploring and camping with my partner, Alex and our sweet dog, Apachi.
