Hello. .
I’m Trinity Sawyer
From planting trees in remote areas across Canada to selling my paintings in a gallery in Mexico..
My journey as an artist has been a serendipitous adventure.
After half a decade working in forestry, my partner, Alex and I decided to put our shovels down and move to Mexico.
The artsy, magical town of Todos Santos was the perfect place to start a new chapter focused on my real passion- art.
It quickly became clear that this wild leap of faith was my destined path.
At a Halloween party the night we arrived, I met gallery owner and prolific artist, Jill Logan (middle), who was looking for someone to work in her established gallery, Galeria Logan.
The potential to show my work in a gallery, motivated me to teach myself to paint with oils, elevating and evolving my artwork.
Within a year, I sold my first gallery painting. (below)
I now have the pleasure of creating and selling new work consistently, alongside the talented works of Jill Logan, mosaic artist, Linda Lenz (above right) and realist wave artist, Lee Mothes.
My work is often inspired by the awe of the Baja, where mountains fold into desert valleys that reach out to the Pacific Ocean and flowers bloom in resilience.
You can find a collection of my current work at Galeria Logan, next to Hotel California in Todos Santos, B.C.S. and high-quality prints of my paintings here in the shop!
When I’m not at the gallery or painting in my home studio, you can find me on the waves learning to surf or exploring and camping with Alex and our sweet dog, Apachi.
Thank you for being here.
